I think this project was pushed aside because it was just way to tedious. After about 5 months I am finally done.. the only reason why I am finally done is I ripped out the foam and just placed them inside the palette. I used the one from Starsmakeuphaven.com which by design holds 28 MAC sized shadows. But with my design
it holds 40!!!!
I can’t take all the credit I actually got this idea from lipglossgurl07. Which I can’t thank enough because I can now use my shadows with ease, no longer will my NYX shadows be ignored. As far as depotting NYX shadows you either need a strong hand or a soldering gun( this is something that is dangerous and works very efficiently, but does change the chemical compound of the product.. no chemists here. Use at own risk) Check out youtube.com for 5904850485048 tutorials on NYX depotting.
Warning: NYX Shadows are very soft and fragile so take your time.

1) Take a palette, MAC palette works too, just remove the plastic well or foam. As mentioned above I used the one from Starsmakeuphaven.com\
Side Note: the destroyed palette was not from Starsmakeuphaven.com\ and the foam was a pain to remove. I got it as a gift, so I dunno where that came from.
2) Remove foam by lifting one corner. Or you can cut squares, but I didn’t have time to do it. I even bribed my little cousin to do the one you see below(it was used prior to destruction).
3) Place magnetic sheet down and then put shadows down (skip this step if you are gluing) I didn’t use a magnetic sheet because I didn’t find out about them till now and it’s too late.
4) Lay down the glue, I used GemTac from Michaels. Place shadows accordingly. (if you are not using the magnetic sheet)
5) Label- don’t forget to keep track unlike me and my purples(they now are nameless) the file was deleted from my computer
6) You are done! This can be done with any shadows, be artistic- mix, match and dip!

ugh, what a chore! I should definitely do this with my trios. Most of them I bought on clearance from Cherry Culture and most of them were bought because I really wanted one color out of the three lol

Does the palette lid close with the magnets on the bottom of the NYX shadows? I have seen a few Youtube posts from people who have tried to use magnets with the NYX square shadows and they said the lid won’t close. What is your experience? Did lipglossgurl07 use magnets? Any help you could give on this would be great! Thanks!
