Plummed Violet
Regardless of what shade of purple shadow, I will love it. I have yet to meet a person who couldn’t pull off purple eye shadow.
I was on my way out to the Rouge Bar at the MGM when I decided to add a little color to my look. I figured a black studded dress and dark purple eyes would be a fun combo.
Eyes
- Small dab of Toofaced shadow insurance all over lid as primer
- MAC Plumed Violet Cream Color base to outer 2/3corner of lid ( this is a dark purple-almost black cream available at MAC Pro)This will darken up the color and bring your purple color to a smoky shade
- Mac Pink Platinum on inner corner- Shimmery pink cream
- MAC Vellum on top of Pink Platinum.- Iridescent white with illuminating purple
- Mac Next to Nothing on Brow bone. -Satin cream color
- MAC Beautiful Iris on top of Plumed Violet. -Light Frosty lavender
- Ben Nye Royal Purple on top of MAC Plummed Violet. - Dark blu-ish purple
- Blend
- Dior Iconic Mascara
- Lined eye with MAC Black Russian Liner -Metallic gunmetal black. Black shadow on top.
- Anastasia duo powder on brows
Face
- Clinique Superdefense
- Dior Ulta Gloss Reflect #657
- Dior Powder Foundation
- MAC Soft and Gentle on cheeks to create glow
- MAC So Ceylon as contour blush just close to ears and cheeks with fan brush

ooohhhhh i once met someone who couldn’t pull off purple eyehadow . . . they had this big dark purple streak across their non-existent crease, light purple smeared on their eyelids, and white shimmer all over their browbone. this contrasted grossly with their orangey foundation that they obviously applied like a lotion. it was disgusting. the sad thing is, they were about eighteen.

I love purple. It’s so festive any time of the year. I went to see Zumanity. The makeup is amazing in these shows. I wanted to see O because it was in the water. So cool.
