This year we all got a little present from MAC. “Falling Prices” that is .. Instead of the price point of $49.50 like on Maccosmetics.com site.. Nordstroms is selling their MAC Holiday Brushes for ….
$35.00 a set

OMG!! I just bought the sets at nordstrom and the total of all 3 sets came out to $113.67 for 14 MAC brushes can’t go wrong with that.

Wow, I’m so glad I waited to get the brush sets! Though normally I buy them at Nordstrom’s anyway not from the MAC website. I’m going to pick them up so I can save on shipping and handling

I just found out about this yesterday and I was so mad! I had already bought one of the sets from Mac. But now I’m thinking I might buy a different set from Nordstrom sense it’s such a great deal!

If you already bought your set from MAC, go to Nordies, pick up the SAME set, and return it to MAC
that way you get back your $50 and still have your $35 brush set.

Mary, mac makes enough money even with people making returns! I return things all the time to mac if I’m not 100 % satisfied and I don’t feel bad about it. I figure if I’m going to spend a lot of money for something I should be 100% happy with it. So I think it’s a good idea to return the mac set and get it cheaper at nordstroms (I’m thinking I might just do the same thing!) It’ll save me $15 and that’s a good thing considering Christmas is just around the corner!

Thanks for the awesome tip! I have been wanting to get the 217 brush and now I get an entire set for $12.50 more. Went out and bought two — one for me and one for an x-mas present.

The quality of these brushes is not as good as their original brushes. I heard these brushes are synthetic and mass produced (unlike their handmade ones). I understand it’s a good deal for someone just starting out, however, I personally would rather, over time, spend full price for each brush because it’s worth the price. I did purchase the basic brush set and ended up returning it because the quality was just not up to par (compared to the actual brushes). I was disappointed=(

yea i bought 6 earlier and will be giving them all away for xmas… the quality is not the same. really it would be better to even buy sephora brushes if you want to start out. these are definetly not great quality. its the worst product i’ve ever bought from mac.
