Yes it is one of a kind, yes it is something you don’t already own. But is is worth your money and time?
Givenchy Phenomen’ Eyes Mascara
Pros
Probably the best applicator for curling and thickening. If only it was like MAC’s Plushlash formula where it lasted all day on my lashes and not on my face.

- No need for primer, which is good cause primer is $15 also.
- Gives you dark dramatic lashes
- Unique
- Thickens
- Beautiful panoramic spread of lashes, no need for lash curler
- Easy to rinse off
Cons
- Price $27, although no primer is needed. So I guess it breaks even.
- Never dried, had a rubbery feeling on my lashes
- Smudges
- Gets on top and bottom lashline
- Application takes a little getting use to
- Need another wand to de-clump
Would I buy it again? No, I will keep this and see if I can get my MAC Plushlash formula on this wand. If not, then it’s going back. I have never experienced such a stylish and useful mascara wand, but the actual mascara formula still feels like it needs some work.
I secretly wanted to hate this mascara because of the price. But I fell in love with the amazing results. Fortunately to me, smearing is a deal breaker.

thanks for reviewing it because like at sephora you cant try it really cuase you have to use the generic makeup brush and the whole dome shape is what i wanted to no about

i agree. it actually looks like it would turn out clumpy and uneven. what a bummer

Hi PB, thanks so much for reviewing it and comparing it to Plushlash. After you said it smudges, I got Dior’s Iconic instead (but I think it’s actually no different from Plushlash except maybe it dries slower). I happen to really like Zoomlash and Plushlash so perhaps 3 months later, I’ll give Phenomen a try since you said it’s a cross between those two. Haha, it’s like your words make the law. Thanks very much! =)
